SMALL COUNTERTOP PROJECTS
IN CHARLOTTE, NC

A laundry room counter. One vanity top. A single piece of granite cut to size. Most countertop companies won't return your call for a job like that. We fabricate in our own Charlotte shop, so small projects get the same crew, the same precision, and the same one-price treatment as a full kitchen.

WHY NOBODY CALLS YOU BACK FOR A SMALL JOB

Countertop shops that buy their stone from a middleman have a math problem with small jobs: by the time they pay the supplier, the fabricator, and the installer, a one-piece project barely covers the paperwork. So they quote high or never call back.

We're the fabricator. The slab yard, the CNC machines, and the install crew are all ours, on Reames Rd in Charlotte. A vanity top or a laundry counter goes through the exact same shop as a full kitchen — it just takes less stone and less time. That's why we can say yes to the projects other companies ignore.

And because we keep remnants from full-kitchen jobs in our yard, your small project can often be cut from a premium slab at a fraction of the full-slab price.

SMALL PROJECTS WE TAKE ON

If it's made of stone and it fits in a home, we've probably fabricated one this month.

Bathroom Vanity Tops

Single or double sink, one bathroom or five. Granite, quartz, or marble, cut to your vanity's exact dimensions with the sink cutout and faucet holes done in the shop. One of the most requested small jobs in Charlotte — and one of the fastest.

Laundry & Utility Rooms

A stone counter over the washer and dryer turns the laundry room into a folding station that lasts forever. Usually a single piece, often cut from a remnant. Replacing an old formica top is a one-visit job.

Remnant Projects

Our factory yard keeps remnants from full-slab jobs: real granite, quartz, and quartzite pieces big enough for a vanity, a desk top, a coffee bar, or a closet island. Premium stone, small-piece price. Ask what's in the yard this week. Already bought a slab at a distributor? We fabricate and install that too. (We sell remnants — we don't buy them.)

Backsplashes & Add-Ons

Adding a stone backsplash to countertops you already have, extending a counter, or squaring off a bar top. If your existing stone came from us, we match it from records; if not, bring a photo and we'll get close.

Sink Re-Mounting & Countertop Repairs

An undermount sink that came loose from the stone is a common — and fixable — problem. We re-mount sinks, re-seal seams, and assess chips and cracks honestly: if a repair will hold, we do it; if the piece needs replacing, we tell you straight.

Offices, Bars & Built-Ins

Desk tops, wet bars, window sills, fireplace surrounds, outdoor kitchen islands. Anywhere a piece of stone makes the space better, we template it, cut it, and install it.

SAME PROCESS, SMALLER STONE

01

Tell Us the Project

Name and phone is all the form needs. Rough measurements help ("60 inch laundry counter") but aren't required — we confirm everything before cutting.

02

Pick the Stone

For small pieces, start with our remnant yard — you'll see the exact piece before we cut. Want a specific color or brand instead? We source it.

03

One-Visit Install

Most small projects install in a single short visit, plumbing reconnection included when there's a sink. One crew, one price, no surprises.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my project too small for you?
Almost certainly not. A single vanity top, one laundry counter, one piece of granite cut to size — these are normal jobs for us, not favors. Because we fabricate in-house, small projects go through the same shop as full kitchens.
What is a remnant and why is it cheaper?
A remnant is the leftover section of a premium slab after a full-kitchen job. It's the same stone at a lower price simply because it's a smaller piece. Our Charlotte yard always has remnants in granite, quartz, and quartzite — perfect for vanities, laundry counters, and desks. We sell remnants from our yard, but we don't buy remnants. If you purchased a slab from a stone distributor, we're happy to fabricate and install it.
My undermount sink fell or came loose. Can you fix it?
Yes — this is one of the most common calls we get. We re-mount the sink to the stone with proper clips and adhesive, re-seal it, and reconnect the plumbing. Usually a single short visit.
How fast can a small project be done?
Faster than a full kitchen. Once the stone is chosen — especially if it's a remnant already in our yard — fabrication is quick and installation is usually a single short visit. Tell us your deadline and we'll work around it.
Do you serve areas outside Charlotte?
Yes: Huntersville, Concord, Matthews, Mooresville, Davidson, Pineville, Monroe, Gastonia, and Fort Mill SC. For small projects we group visits by area, so mention your city and we'll schedule accordingly.
